Cloud platform. The company has an existing Azure footprint — migrating to another provider would be a significant distraction with no clinical or regulatory benefit. Azure has a strong healthcare compliance posture: ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA BAA available.
⚠ Open flag: The March 2026 job description specifies "Azure and AWS" as required skills. This may indicate the company is multi-cloud or planning to be. Clarify with the CTO before writing Layer 09 (Infrastructure). If AWS is in active use, this decision must be revised. See DEC-001.
